$0www.tubbercurrygaa.comOur Senior team defeated Castleconnor at the weekend in the second round of the Kiernan Cup. Our next game is against Easkey away on the weekend of the 13th/14th March. Training continues Wednesday and Friday nights in Kilcoyne Park.Our Minor boys play St. John’s away in the fourth round of the league on Sunday 7th at 11.00am.We wish to congratulate David Kelly who won a Sigerson Cup Medal with D.C.U on Saturday last. D.C.U beat N.U.I Maynooth on Friday in the semi final. David had an outstanding game scoring 1-3 - the goal was a brilliant score. He was somewhat quiter in the final scoring 0-1 point but contributed excellently to a fine team performance.The previous week David picked up an O’Byrne Medal when D.C.U triumphed over Louth.An outstanding week for David, we salute him and hope this success will continue for him in the Tubbercurry / Sligo Jersey over the coming months.$0
